Metalandscape was recorded on April 11 and 13, 2021 in County Cork, Ireland.

"Metalandscape" is a sound piece built from field recordings taken in Blackrock, County Cork. A listening experience emerges linked to a specific time and place; a fluid symbolism revealed in engagement with the sensory body of the participant.

"Metacityscape" is a sonic composition that uses field recordings taken along a walk routed in Cork City itself. The route begins on Cornmarket Street, travels up Sunday’s Well Road, across the Shakey Bridge, then back into the city center by way of the Banks of the Lee Walkway. The audio piece is not meant to be a representation of the sound walk but rather an exploration of the sonic materials gathered. The field recordings taken on the walk are arranged chronologically in the piece to create a sort of abstract, virtual, sonic mapping.

Since these recordings utilize the full range of audible frequencies, headphones or quality speakers are recommended. Supplemental artwork provided by the artist.
